  1. 8 ounces duck breast

  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  4. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. - Score the skin of the duck breast in a crosshatch pattern.
  2. - In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil, season duck with salt and pepper, and place skin-side down.
  3. - Cook for 10-12 minutes until skin is crispy, then flip and cook for 5-7 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).
  4. - Slice and serve 4 ounces per portion warm.
