Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sabudana (tapioca pearls)
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

Directions
- Rinse sabudana under water until clear and soak for 30 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring milk to a gentle boil.
- Add soaked sabudana and stir frequently for 20-25 minutes until pearls are translucent and soft.
- Stir in sugar, cardamom powder, almonds, and raisins if using.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm or chilled.
