Directions

  1. Rinse sabudana under water until clear and soak for 30 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring milk to a gentle boil.
  3. Add soaked sabudana and stir frequently for 20-25 minutes until pearls are translucent and soft.
  4. Stir in sugar, cardamom powder, almonds, and raisins if using.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve warm or chilled.
