  1. 4 slices whole grain bread (gluten-free for Gluten-Free tag)
  2. 4 ounces sliced turkey breast
  3. 1/4 cup hummus
  4. 2 lettuce leaves
  5. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper | Unit: Teaspoon | Optional: true

Directions

  1. Spread 2 tablespoons hummus evenly over two bread slices.
  2. Layer each with 2 ounces turkey and 1 lettuce leaf, sprinkle with black pepper if desired.
  3. Top with remaining bread slices, slice in half, and serve immediately.
