  1. 1 cup spaghetti
  2. 4 slices bacon, chopped
  3. 1 large egg
  4. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  5. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  6. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. - In a medium pot, bring water to a boil and cook spaghetti according to package instructions (about 10-12 minutes), then drain, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.
  2. - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  3. - In a bowl, whisk egg, Parmesan, and black pepper, then add to the skillet with bacon, spaghetti, and reserved pasta water, tossing until creamy.
  4. - Divide into two bowls and serve warm.
